Design Drafting Services, San Diego, Ca.
Independent Mechanical Design and Drafting Service, doing contract and consulting machine design and drafting. Contract completions in the areas of automation, commercial lighting, automotive, medical, food processing, environmental, high voltage and pulsed power, computer magnetic and optic storage, daylight readable backlit LCD computer displays, spectrometer design, undersea products. Also set up CAD systems and configurations for various clients. Created drafting formats and initiated drafting standards and document control systems for several clients. I have recently done the mechanical design and detailing for the Northrup Grumman ASTAMIDS program, which involves designing a multi-spectral imaging system for Science and Engineering Associates, and successfully incorporating it into a WESCAM 11 inch diameter gimballed imaging turret for aircraft, unmanned aircraft and helicopter installation.
